The rate of killings in Ikorodu and its environs have reached its peaks. Ikorodu  and Epe in Lagos State Nigeria where adjoined to be the most peaceful areas to live within Lagos State has turn to a  criminal zones where criminals have a field days. Of recent, a lot of murders cases have been recorded and reported all over Ikorodu, from Ibeshe to Owutu, Isawo, Igbogbo, Offin, Imota, Aleke, Isiu  and Agbowa areas. The reasons behind these killings are yet to be ascertained. Initially, the killings was been reported among the cult members, but today, it has graduated from that level to the killing of innocent citizens to small children, husband and wife and most of the time, the killing of the whole family.
